Ex-Persuasion Jerry Lawson and his new group, Talk of the Town, are featured featured on educational children's channel Noggin, singing Country Joe McDonald's "I'm So Glad" HERE.

Lawson's appearance spurs new sales of The Persuasions' multi-award-winning kids' album, "On the Good Ship Lollipop." Read about it HERE.

Meanwhile, Lawson/Talk of the Town's appearance with Rod Stewart on the New Orleans relief concert, Shelter from the Storm, has been released on on the fund-raising CD, "Hurricane Relief: Come Together"---along with Dr. John, The Neville Brothers, Faith Hill, Professor Longhair, Elton John, John Fogerty, and many others. LISTEN ON-LINE: The Persuasions and ex-Persuasion Lawson will be interviewed by Marcie Finklestein for WMNF 88.5 FM public radio in Florida as part of a special tribute program to Martin Luther King, this coming April. Marcie's "Tuesday Morning Show" will feature "Pride" from The Persuasions' new U-2 tribute album, as well as their version (with Lawson as lead singer) of Solomon Burke's "I Have a Dream" from the A Cappella Dreams album.
